Every time I close the browser I had to resign-in to this site. Am I missing something or is this not an option?
It's not a terrible issue but there have been a few times I just start browsing only to write a comment and realise I'm not signed in and have to do a copy and paste...
Just wondering if there is an option to remain signed-in.
What browser do you use?
The sign in here is as aggressive as possible at keeping you signed in. Your browser is clearing its cookies and there isn't much I can do about that. In theory I could store your credentials in indexdb or something that might persist harder (though it might not).
You could go into your browser settings and make it not clear cookies when closing the browser. If someone's browser is set that way then they probably want to be logged out of everything when closing their browser and I shouldn't circumvent that.
