Old school Mickey in the public domain now, so Disney won't have this YouTube video taken down. There's a new video game out called MOUSE PI For Hire. Looks a lot like Mickey but again, can't sue.
And that's just scratching the surface of early 20th century insults of blacks. I think it's interesting that many of the performers and producers of those comedies were often Jewish. Walt Disney was not Jewish, but many of his story writers, animators, and composers were Jewish. And his main competition, Fleischer Studios was a Jewish group. Racism was spread broadly in the US and certainly not confined to Jewish comedians. The early entertainment and its producers industry was largely Jewish because of exceptional entrepreneurial drive and comedy skills (so I am not dissing Jews here). What's interesting to me is that this industry joined the 'bandwagon' of comedic trends that insulted blacks in the early 20th century, and now much of that material is being hidden. There was significant antisemitism at the same time as these pre-WWII comedy skits that made fun of blacks. The Irish and Italians were also hated at the time by a largely Anglo- and somewhat German populace. Blacks faced the worst forms racism and oppression during the period of Jim Crow laws. It's sad that an entertainment industry run largely by relatively recent Jewish immigrants joined others in their insults against heavily oppressed Blacks. Indeed the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was founded in 1913 to combat rising antisemitism, and thus began massive Jewish lobbying in the US. Blacks didn't have anything like the ADL to help them.
This guy has his strong biases and over-corrections, but is not wrong.
In college for animation history we saw a Mickey Mouse short in a haunted house, where the ghost blew out Mickey's candle, so in the dark black-faced Mickey was scared, "Mammy!"
Fantasia was censored.
Song Of The South was censored.
Much more. You can still torrent quite a bit of forbidden history.

The Horror Shows already made this movie in 2024: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30743549/

Was racism really so high back then or were Jews faking it like today
Racism was higher because it was a relatively normal occurence.
It actually never existed.
Back then everyone was racist.
In the future they'll say all of us are racist.
