My favourite movie about Jesus is The Last Temptation Of Christ. Neat premise, good story, good acting, great filmmaking, great soundtrack, great movie.

When I was 18 I saw it and I was almost convinced to return - it was that good.
Subsequently I read other religion books and philosophy and cemented my atheism.
In my later 20s I saw it again and it convinced me religion is bunk.

Ignore the negative-hype and manufactured controversy about it. Watch it. Make up your own mind about the movie.
I used to be agnostic, almost embraced atheism at one point, and then I realized that if God isn't real; then everything is permissible and there is no such thing as right or wrong.
If there is a concept of true perfection or perfect morality, then God has to be real.
Man can never attain the righteousness of God; we can only believe on the righteousness of God to save us.
