Rumors have it that Epstein invested in Reddit and killed off Digg by getting users to switch to Reddit.

What are those rumors based on?

Epstien invested in many Internet tech like BitCoin. https://www.timesnownews.com/world/us/us-buzz/jeffrey-epstein-bitcoin-satoshi-nakamoto-epstein-files-article-153567803 Epstien invested in Reddit so they can have better servers than Digg and have kiddie porn on some of the hidden Subreddits. Digg had server failures and people migrated to Reddit because it was more stable and had stuff for kids as well as Kiddie Porn.

If I remember correctly, Digg users migrated to Reddit only because of Digg's outages. By the time Digg was properly back online, much of its userbase (general age was 13, I think) had already migrated fully to Reddit. This move was a surprise to Reddit, and I think most of us didn't want these kids, but Reddit owners capitalized on it by converting Reddit from its focus on news to a focus on entertainment for kids, which contributed to the corporate model adopted at that time. Anyhow, if Digg did not collapse because of mismanagement (failing to upgrade servers), perhaps there could be a conspiracy theory that there were DDoS or similar attacks.
