Simon Dixon is IMO the absolute best at explaining the great big global picture, why it exists, and where it's going - and this is one of his great overviews, IMO.
I like that he wears two hats: his humanitarian hat that is upset by so much going on, and his analytical hat that understands things are happening regardless and recognizes where the world is likely going.
I keep trying to introduce folks to Simon Dixon (like Corbett, Fitts, Webb, but clear and concise) to get folks here to see above and past the distracting political theatrics - take the Golden Pill - to stop wasting time and focus on currents we can't stop to find what we can actually do locally.
Endlessly criticizing, defending, and talking about Trump, Carney, etc. helps nothing.
I'm keen to discuss the actual situations, crises, psyops, our future, local resistance, and of course alternatives, solutions, and trade-offs to survive and thrive despite the evil forces.
They've all talked to each other over the years, less Simon Dixon (SimonDixon.com) and except Jiang who are more recently explosive up-and-comers. I'd love to see all 5 (and a some other excellent minds) get in a round table discussion to exchange different-angled views about where and why we're headed, what to expect, and how to prepare, resist, and adapt.
