I've never seen this guy before, and I'm only halfway through the video, but he has a very entertaining style

Same - it's great to see how he focuses on each component, getting the appropriate parts made and having the patience to develop this properly over several months with proper testing and incredibly precise measurements. It's also impressive that he's not greedy, by merely improving the original engine, without boring the cylinders significantly or making modifications that would increase HP while not seriously reducing the life of the engine.

Any work on 280Zs in the US in 1980 cost a fortune, as it would now, because of the expensive Japanese parts. A friend of mine had two of them so that while one was in the shop, she could drive the other one. I think I never saw both of them together.
