Interesting story. I listened to most of it, and might have missed these tidbits, but I can add:

"Kentucky Fried Chicken" as a brand started with the Salt Lake City friend, Pete Harman, who coined the name (and that's in the video, I think).

Between 1952 and 1963, Harlan and Claudia (not Claudine!) traveled around the US selling franchises, developing 600 by 1963, the largest fast food Co in the US.

A major turning point was in 1964, when Sanders (age 74) sold his KFC to Brown and Massey for $2 million ($17m today), who would then franchise the company internationally, making a fortune. Brown sold the company in 1971 for $285 million ($2b today).

Harlan continued to promote KFC for later owners, and was often at the KFC headqurters in KY.

Harlan and Claudia opened the Claudia Sanders restaurant in Shelbyville KY in 1968, which was known for decades thereafter for delicious traditional KY food, all attributed to Claudia. It seems she was largely responsible for the KFC recipes, but IDK.

Ask anyone in the world what they know about Kentucky and they'll probably say: KFC and Muhammad Ali.
