Title. This allows you to more easily add a queue of what to consume.

Um. You said title like it's self explanatory. But it's not. I have no idea what this means. What are overview pages? What does it mean to favorite a post? We do have the save button. The one time to actually explain what you mean was probably this one.

Yh I thought it was so like the page for it is /favorites that's why I assumed the button was called favorite. So save. Overview pages include the frontpage, someone's profile page, etc. If the save button appears there it allows users to quickly tag things as 'consume this later' like browser bookmarks. Reddit has the save link in all the pages as well it also provides a familiar experience.

Additional, related suggestions:

  • make the UX consistent. Perhaps use /saved as the primary URL and make /favorites a redirect to that so that people won't get 404 from using their browser history feature.
  • Put a link to /saved in the toolbar so like a dedicated icon next to the mail icon I would say.

Noted on the last two. Those shouldn't be hard. I'm just worried putting a save button on the outside will look cluttered. Maybe there's a creative trick I can use to get around that.

I mean there's plenty of room still. The only other buttons there right now are the x comments and the username ones. If you aren't sure where to put things, I suggest taking inspiration from Saidit / Old Reddit, that interface gets things just right.
