Protesting that disrupts our energy infrastructure should be illegal IMHO. That’s when free speech crosses over into terroristic destruction. I actually think blocking roads without a permit should be arrestable as well. Any protest that could cause loss of life (e.g. blocking emergency vehicles) should be illegal.
It is weird how people glorify someone like Lennon's quotes. He was obviously a reasonably intelligent, creative musician, but he had no coherent or principled ideology. 1960s intellectualism was nearly as brain-dead as today's wokeism.
