Watts the actual problem is they are accelerating R&D for companies that are attached to the military and the police. I just don't want us writing code so fast until we get our priorities straight. At least near me the tech market is entirely captured by the government. Everything is either directly working on a government contract or you are only one additional degree of seperation.

I don't think technology is bad. I just think most of the commercial tech companies are working on negtive utility projects. Why would we want to build more inferstructure to run more copies of the same program. Which if it is agentic AI, is basically delivering an under-priced service to creative developers to sniff their code, so that eventually all code can be written by large state-attached corporations.
