I was wrong about boot times being faster with Vinit. AI says: 'No, SysVinit does not boot faster than systemd. Systemd uses parallelized service startup, which significantly reduces boot times compared to the sequential execution of SysVinit.'. There's a 30 second difference it would seem.

Ironically, I'm on MXLinux without SystemD. It uses Vinit; though it's hard to tell the difference especially when it's running in the background. Boot times might be marginally faster? I don't know...
