Is this just regular Bluetooth? Or do the mesh networks need setting up?
Wondering if there's a way to expand the reaches beyond the limits of Bluetooth. (ie. repeaters, boosters, portals, etc.)
For years I've been dreaming that resistance folks could set up their own B.A.T.M.A.N. or whatever freedom network thing across a city with a simple rooftop installation. Really we'd need a good plug-n-play device so anyone could adopt this. Also, ham radio folks need licenses, but not all radios/bandwidths do - and this might be good to also do in parallel somehow.

It works over regular Bluetooth, like your phone.
