I don't know if I would consider Linux dead over this. This in theory effects every open source project, so is all OSS dead, or just ones produced from many contributors?
Maybe a few of us can contact these Russians and agree to be straw contributors for them.
Linus has undermined so much good that was done. I hope he's being forced into it so is making it a clown show - thus forcing a hard split into FLOSS and WUSS.
Free/Libre Open Source Software vs Woke-Unix Source Software
Linux may not die, but it's as dead as Firefox to me.
I like the idea of a global Red Mafiystraw resistance.
Lunduke's take on the "25% of Google Code is AI Generated" not only gives me food for thought and great hope for humanity - but also tremendous fodder for my Bittersweet Seeds cautionary screenplay/graphic novel. The very premise that A.I. has a practical limit once old, is now more clearly defined and limited by garbage in/out and political corruption is a little sad - but is also potentially promising for our survival after 2050.
