He keeps reposing the same stuff. It's very oddly formatted. It's very clearly promotion or done on behalf of the those organizations he is posting. For example if I liked the work Mises.org does I would just post the link. I wouldn't start the post with at 501(c) label. As far as I know that's only needed if the communication is paid for by the organization for the sake of the IRS. If the organization does communication then it has to mark its communications.
I am not against promotion at all. The issue is my definition of spam. Spam to me is the intersection of promotion and annoyance. If it is annoying at all it is now spam.
Posting 7 links at a time with virtually no meaningful content in the besides some legalizes and sliding other people's content off with reposts is an annoyance. And therefore when done with adjacency to promotion is spam.
I called him out on reposting 24hrs apart the same post. His response was that it was somehow my fault and "he has no ability to control that on his end." What the fuck does that mean.
Then despite us having an active conversation about it in that copy he posts it a third time even though he knows and has been told this is a problem:

There are 105 other instances of this. I mentioned 104 in one of those posts but having done it again the total is not at least 106.
There is no, woops, I forgot I posted that explanation for that. It's forum sliding and reposing at an industrial scale.
So we are going to have a vote on it. We were going to vote on it but I've basically made up my mind after I tried to approach him nicely about it and he entirely disregarded my feedback on what is already a clear issue. But we are going to vote anyway because why not.

Too late. He wasn't responsive to feedback. He's already gone. I've removed the worst of his posts and kept the more normal ones.

I think you made the right call, fwiw.
My opinion is (most of) carn0ld03's content was spam - and that was based on when I checked this place out for the first time the other day. Reposting the same stuff is a good indicator. Anyone that is making posts on a site so much that they can't keep track of what they have and have not posted - well I guess they are just bad at their job. At least some spammers try to hide it a little. It is pretty crazy how these spammers post identical links to multiple sites.
Dig the site because it actually takes up my entire computer screen, reminds me of the good old days before all sites became mobile-friendly. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into it :)
