Are we ready for me to remove the old submit forms?

With new people coming to the site I realize that having 'Submit a text post', 'Submit a link', and just plain 'Submit' might be confusing.
I kept the old ones for the sake of backwards compatability in case someone had an issue with the new form for some unpredicted technical reason.
How are people liking the combined submit form in general? Is anyone still using the old forms?

I don't see any problems with the current submit forms, so I've voted for the 'little longer' option. Perhaps one tweak would be to allow one to submit an image (eg. from https://goatmatrix.net/domain/img.gvid.tv ) when one submits a text comment or a link. Currently I think one can submit only a text comment, or only a link or only an image, but not a text or link that includes an image. But this is not particularly important.
The one change I'd like to see - if possible - is the option of not having to log into my account most times when I visit matrix. This was also an occasional problem at Saidit, and perhaps cannot be fixed easily with that code. But Reddit - from the earliest days with a similar code - doesn't require me to login. My ISP sometimes changes my IP address via a forwarding process, which might be one of the reasons matrix logs me out. This too is not important to most people here, I suspect.
I agree that an optional photo is wanted to show the text or article link.
Matrix logs me out when I close the web browser, and when I open my web browser it asks me to login, which I saved the password in Brave.
The simpler uni-form would be good with a GUI that is more clear, especially for newbies.
I wrote a bunch of recommendations when first it came out.
Until the clarity is there, it's not better.
The point is not just to be simpler, but better.
I use the old familiar forms because I know them, am often in a rush, and forget the quirks of the new form that I documented.
