It looks like we are going to delay the switch to hard sci-fi for one more week because we need to do a Paddy's Day movie night. @JasonCarswell already listed a few movies.

But I want to open up the nominations to more people and do this more formally. I'm going to be making a poll out of these quickly, and or we can do it right here.

New rule: Maximum movies you can nominate is 6. This will make it easier and faster for people to process what has already been nominated, so more people can participate more easily.

Edit: You can also nominate 6 math movies. Because it is PI day also.

Also, this gives me a chance to show off the new RSVP system. Let me know if you are planning to make it to the St. Paddy Movie Night. This will be Saturday the 14th at

On Saturday. It's also PI day. I guess math movies can also be nominated.

It's been 30 long years since last I seen it, but Michael Collins (1996) 69% (set in Dublin, 1916-1922) may well fit with these three...

Goat Folks should appreciate the cutting politics and harsh historical tyranny in well made cinema with powerful narratives, even if somewhat depressing. My short reviews: https://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Recommended_Irish_movies

Aye, forgot about Banshees. A very good movie.
