Bro. That would be more work. And are we doing this on separate nights? Maybe if you were running it. People can just vote if they want the animated or the live action and we watch what has the most appeal.
Optional idea, not hard, if you want to do it. It involves both you and me running movie nights. We pick a night of the week to do animation cyberpunk while the main movie night can do either. If you put in the effort we can do it. It would be pretty easy. Steps: 1. Make poll. 2. Chat with people about a day. 3. Announce. 4. Set up media.
I'm game to help in whatever way I'm able. I've tried several times to upload content on Cytube and Gvid and using the command line - to no avail. I need a little hand-holding until the training wheels can come off.
Separation only matters if people want 1) animation, and 2) they want it separated from live-action.
Thus far none of the animated features are close to the top. Ghost in the Shell seems to be the closest.
My December weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) are booked up (as Santa) - and more dates might also get booked. Plus WEFreedom.ca Christmas on Mon 22nd.
It might be neat to develop a calendar or weekly pattern of features, series, documentaries, shorts, and maybe other things like events (concerts, tech cons, etc.).
Maybe we should try to increase visibility on substack. https://substack.com/@x0x7/note/c-184311010
That is the community I want to go after next since the Saidit goose got eaten. If anyone cares to restack it that would be cool.
If Matrix series is here, Animatrix should be included too.
Indeed! I had the 5 on my list.
The 5 would make for an epic day-long Matrix-fest.
I guess I missed it because I went off of the listing in tmdb's collection

I assumed that was everything.
Odd they missed that.
2x Johnny Mnemonic (1995)
Woopsie.

Should Jason run animation movie night?
