Don't they want to ban all third party apps or bots? Does Reddit have their own approved bots?

These seem to be bots which mods use, apparently they are allowed as this is official subreddit (but first time I heard about them).

I just member Reddit mods were protesting about not being able to use third party apps to censor things so they shut down their subs, this was in 2024 when Denver nuggets won the nba championship and I wanted to go to r/nba but saw it was closed.
