I've long had the idea of trying to use cymatics somehow for an audio-password, in my near-future sci-fi screenplay Bittersweet Seeds. A nice visual idea, but I'd guess it could easily be hacked - and besides the distraction I don't know how it may help the story. Can't be precious.

I've seen much of this stuff every year at Burning Man, from Doctor MegaVolt (On YouTube.) (His huge coils were set up on the back of a flatbed truck so he'd perform his show all over Black Rock City.) to Re:Mark aka MiniVolt, and a choir of mid-sized musical mini-Tesla-coils in Austin (Oddly not seen/heard in this OP video. TIL: Available on Amazon.).

Also not in the video, yet I'm reminded, in 2005 my roommate anchored long (piano?) wire between a tall mast and an upright piano's soundboard so the wind blowing on the strings made the most haunting musical sounds (also people could strike the cables) - better than most wind chimes.
