I'm not one to defend Obama and that ugly building. I just know this is a common scam. Contractors and subs getting in over their head and walking off the job. Still demanding money. This is likely because it's a "minority owned business" and they were given this no bid contract just because of that, not because they were qualified. That parts a wild guess by me but the article seems to suggest that. Or it's the main contractors fault, not Obama tho.
I mean trump has this problem too, not paying contractors, getting sued by them, I don't automatically assume the woke medias reporting on it is true, there might be good reasons he stopped paying. I've hired contractors to fix things at my house, they did a bad job etc. you pay something up front, rest at the end, I refuse to pay that last payment if they did a bad job, they send it to collection agency, they call me threatening to sue me, I call their bluff, eventually they give up. If it's for millions they'd sue me I'm sure.
