Recall the Battle of Thermopylae? (4000 Greeks - including 300 Spartans with spray painted '6 packs' - were slaughtered by 200,000+ Persians in 3 days, in July, 480 BCE. Greeks attempted for 130 years to conquer Persia, only to rule if for 80 years thereafter. Since then, invasions by Muslims, Turks, Mongols, Timurids (Turk-Mongols) lasted only a few decades each.)
Anyway: the military industrial complex (the rich assholes involved with it) is the only beneficiary of the US oligarchy's decisions. Everyone else will pay for it.
