Jean grey is called the phoenix and gets resurrected like Jesus a lot.
In eclipse symbolism you'll have a redhead and dark haired person getting together, this is like an eclipse where the red sun gets a black hole over it basically. Or red being replaced with black like how they made mary Jane black. A blood moon. A brand new day starts in the morning, the Morningstar.
My fave Jean Grey storyline with fantastic illustration and inking. I had all these in the 80s (might still have).
