For each universe with perfectly consistent laws of nature, there are a bazillion where there is no cause-effect relationship and random things happen all the time. The celestial bodies follow a predictable pattern, gravity is always in effect, and people have a consistent appearance. If we take the idea seriously, then we would expect constant randomness in the above things, because what are the chances of ending up in a real universe? There must be something wrong with the experiment. The only sensible conclusion is that we don't live in a simulation.
