I just trimmed 8 inches off, another 4 to go, and intend to clear it all off with a proper haircut sometime this week.
I've got footage from several years. Haven't looked at any of it. When the studio is finished I'll have a Christmas set up all year for Santa Libertas productions, coming soon/eventually. FreedomSanta.com It's hard with no budget and one guy wearing all the hats.
Great name I hope it catches on. You could be the next Chip Sky or what was his name again? The "Just say no" guy. But my question remains. You've implied that you have done shootings recently even though Christmas is over. Is that true and if so, how come there is interest in that sort of thing outside of Christmas?

We're going to do an anti-C9 rally soon. I'll ask around then.
I don't know if there will be interest in it year-round - but I can try. Why not?
There are multiple reasons why to build the Santa Libertas character year-round. There's no way I can dev-shoot-edit-produce all the stuff in one month. Why limit the Libertas character to one month? Everyone loves Santa, humour, and freedom - and clear, concise, catchy videos. It's a hook, a gimmick, a character, an easy way to wedge new ideas into otherwise resistant minds. I happen to look like Santa - so I'll make use of it. If I looked like Brad Pitt I'd be developing other characters. I have friends who can be characters too.
The goal is to produce some high-quality content. When folks see it, hopefully they'll support it and/or want to help be in it. Then I can step back behind the camera rather than be in front of it.
