All of which is rather beside the legal analysis of the video, which is that there is no legal basis for pleading the fifth when you are not legally vulnerable (both for the period of 2014-2025 the pardon covers, and for questions like the color of his tie, answering which could in no way open him up to prosecution).
Why do you need a legal basis to plead the fifth for any reason. I just keep going back to reading its text and it's clear. Just like the second amendment where liberals always violate that with new laws that get shot down.
This also reminds me of liberals thinking trump called for an insurrection by saying we're going to fight. Even the most liberal lawyers would say no cuz of free speech precedent.
Well, perhaps if you went and listened to the lawyer talking about exactly that, you wouldn't need to ask. A right not to self-incriminate is not a right never to respond at all ever.
