Out of all the big late night talk show hosts, Jay Leno was probably the most equal opportunity offender without getting mean absent of funny. Conan has said some hateful things about Trump, but in a conversational setting, not necessarily a comedic setting. Is there a term for what SNL has become, in the sense that they don't rely on comedy anymore to get approval from a certain crowd; only mocking certain politicians?

To be fair, disliking Trump isn't bad. Using him as a Goldstein and turning every second of television into a 2 minutes hate is.
