That's interesting. I suppose that might be possible. The only advantage would be if people wanted to IRC off site. Which is fine, it just would be nice to know that there was some demand before doing something like that.
The only thing that's really an unknown is how I would get that to work with signins. Like how does someone talking over IRC prove that they are the person that they say they are? I might do some research on that.
Is anyone here a big IRC user? I'm guessing you might be.

I think it might just be me who wants it, haha. Saidit uses it and maybe 6 people actually use the chat.
This is pretty cool too, there's a reddit clone open source out there: https://fsdfsd.net/rDrama/rDrama
Rdrama.net has some eye melting UI that's terrible but all that can be turned off.
