NFTs are retarded. The entire point of alternative currency, and currency in general is that it is fungible. Non-fungible isn't a selling point or something to brag about. It makes the whole crypto space look stupid and associates it with a hype train. This chases away adoption from practical people which is what we need if crypto is going to compete with fiat.
When 90% of the crypto community openly calls NFT people retarded then the average person will see the crypto community as mature enough to put money behind.
Maybe if you can sell me on a practical purpose for NFTs I'll change my mind.
