Dang. Is says elude died. That sucks. It was cool. You could have an email that could receive and send over the clearnet but the mailbox is accessed over dark net meaning you never sign into your own mailbox from your own computer.
It was rated second best. The "best" makes no sense. "Rise up", some leftly anarchist project.
We promote social ownership and democratic control over information, ideas, technology, and the means of communication
Here's the thing. The US government is democratic and arguably social and they want and significantly have control over information, ideas, technology, and the means of communication.
What they are arguing for as a solution is exactly what's already wrong with the world! Lefty anarchists are stupid retards. They believe the smell of their own word salad farts without any critical analysis of anything they say.
This is the divide between right and left anarchists. Right anarchists care absolutely nothing about the history of ideas except to the extent that can be interesting. Right anarchists only care about the logic of ideas. Left anarchists only care about the history of ideas and care absolutely nothing for the logic of ideas. The fact that this or that guy had this idea is all they need to know that their ideas are correct, even if it makes no sense. Just morons shouting echos of morons in the past.
Just as I stupidly paid for SSL instead of learning the free thing, I also stupidly paid for PrivateEmail recommended by NameCheap. So far it's not bad, but it's not Tutanota (I haven't dived into your posted listicle yet) - and importantly I'm pissed they put a 50 max limit to the number of emails I could send. I didn't have that limit on Gmail. That limit is a problem when I'm sending out protest rally info, invites, etc.
So I wanted to learn and get the SSL set up properly and find a good email service, as well as a client for my PC, phone, and backup, (apparently Thunderbird has been ruined) - and maybe backup my Gmail too (with its complex filters and folders) - and maybe have another client that can back up RSS stuff and maybe even crawl and scrape (ie. go through and backup SaidIt.net).
It was a limit of 50 addresses to send a single email to. To prevent spamming. Except they want the newsletter info - so it's not spam.
Mozilla has been terribly infiltrated and subverted by Google, Microsoft, etc. This isn't new, but it's increased enough that there are countless articles about it. I'm not geeky enough to speak with authority, but I can still smell when something's rotten.
I also loved Thunderbird - and Firefox until v56. But now I need something less sketchy.
Linux is also getting fucked too. Lunduke's 2024 warning was dire.

Their articles are great, but lack a TL;DR: summary and rankings.

Edit #2:
What no BraxMail?
This is on my to-do list.

Is that a limit of 50 emails per day? That should be enough, right? You can spread the mails out over a few days.
Thunderbird still works fine, my mail client of choice.
