I would eat most of that "American" food out of Europe and South America. Maybe not the raw beef pate.

Fun fact. They eat hot dogs in South America just as much as we do, and use it in more cooking. That may explain why the "American" hot dog was so over done. To eat just a hot dog on a bun might have been too normal to seem foreign.

I remember a girl I was dating wanted to go to a very traditional Bolivian place since we were driving through that area anyway. Hot dog pieces on french fries, with hard boiled eggs, gravy, and essentially Salisbury steak.
