It uses the same engine gvid does. It's just historic association with a session cookie.
One of the major differences though is I'm using a much stronger drop off. Gvid uses a dropoff of 1/2, and let's face it, a lot of the video suggestions aren't very related at all. I'm hoping a drop off of 1/4 makes suggestions a lot tighter.
They probably will seem pretty random for a while because there are a fair number of images already and I didn't have this from the start. So the best it can do is random for a while.
But it might make it more interesting to explore.
