For comments editing is needed. For posts there is an edit feature already. And both comments and posts have a delete button.
But I agree on comment editing. I'm a big user of editing on other sites because I don't proof read anything before I hit send.
I'll re-add that to my work queue. I already have it but the way my queue works sometimes it's ok to add it more than once.
