Bouncing ideas off of people: What do you all think about doing a game night?(self)

Just bouncing ideas off of people but what do you all think about... Saturday. I know that's movie night but it think it may be possible to do both. Let people show up for what they want to show up to. If we find that there is too much competing interest then we have one of them move dates. But we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
Now what to play? Settler's of Catan? https://colonist.io/ is one site but there are others. Knowledgable people might no something better.
Or we can do anything on steam. Likely free is better because it's more likely everyone has it.

My Raspberry and Orange Pis won't allow it. I have a decent tower but my CPU fan's pins broke so I checked the temp with a loose heatsink and the CPU was 96 celcius. I haven't turned it on since and have neglected to get a new heatsink. I thought about replacing my old 6th generation i3 at the same time but even used i7s go for 300$ and more. So, here I am typing this on a Raspberry Pi 400. It's not fast but it has proven to be quite reliable and stable with two months worth of continuous runtime. And I've applied dozens of updates since... I could probably pull off Sauerbraten at 320 200...maybe.

That's true. RPi is ARM based. I have compiled it before. It isn't that bad. The run time on it is a bit long but the complexity is low.

I tried the Debian and Ubuntu ARM64 .deb packages but to no avail. I get an error message saying ''Wrong Architecture''. Even on the terminal with sudo gdebi I get ''Wrong architecture 'arm64' -- Run dpkg --add-architecture to add it and update afterwards''.

That looks like a good site. I'm down to play spades or texas hold-em.
Maybe we don't set up anything official for tonight but we can feel people out. Sort of a soft launch of game night with no set plan.

I am down with that. You should make a post for the front page and as a hey, its movie night anyways, but here is a game we will be fucking with prior to that. Spades would be cool. That's not ripe for comedy.
