Are you ultimately going to release on Steam? Yesterday I got play test access to a chess game. You could put your game on wishlist and then give people play test access to see some shit-tier demos. I'd play / fuck around with them.
That is not a bad idea for when i want you guys to test out the multi player stuff. Right now, its still not "good". By "good" i mean it would be a 4 second experience and you would say, wow, you got a lot of work to do! And i would agree. So, before i even consider any of that, i want to have my base level of functionality done.
  • Have movement feel good
  • Pickup and drop items
  • Basic parkour (vault, roll, climb left, climb right, climb up)
  • Basic cover (crouch next to cover "sticks" to that cover)
  • Basic enemy AI (charge, stand and shoot, seek cover and shoot)
  • Basic weapons (3 melee & 3 ranged)
  • Multiplayer re-implemented
  • Levels generate and use Mesh.combine
  • 2 structures for the user to place (1 defensive, 1 that makes robots)
  • a method to return resources
  • probably a bunch of other crap. I really need to make a design doc.
    Once i have that, then we are talking demo time and asking the cool questions like, "Ok, What would make this more fun for you?"
